SSX On Tour
Jul 15, 2006
Back in October of last year, EA released SSX On Tour for all major platforms, including our beloved GameCube. If you are used to past SSX games you already know it’s all about wacky characters, crazy race design, an insane amount of impossible-to-perform-in-real-life tricks, and so much replayability you’ll be tempted to put the disc [...]

Battalion Wars
May 12, 2006
Nintendo struck gold with its Advance Wars series. The DS Advance Wars is my favorite handheld game, after all, and that’s no easy task to accomplish considering I have had a dislike towards all things turn-based after playing too many Final Fantasies. But for as fun and rewarding as Advance Wars is, turn-based games just [...]

Super Paper Mario coming to GameCube
May 11, 2006
Nintendo focused heavily on the Wii during their E3 press conference and minimally talked about the DS. So what happened to the GameCube? Apparently it isn’t dead yet. Chibi-Robo
May 3, 2006
Let’s face it, the GameCube is good as dead. Twilight Princess might as well be a Wii exclusive, and Over the Hedge isn’t going to replace its absence here and now. Tak: The Great Juju Challenge
Mar 29, 2006
THQ’s Tak series is somewhat of an anomaly to me. The first game, Tak and the Power of JuJu, was so poorly put together, it’s surprising two sequels were made thereafter. During all this, THQ’s much better Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy has disappeared entirely. There really is no justice. One thing that Tak has [...]

Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean
Mar 4, 2006
There is no doubt in the mind of any Nintendo fan that there has been a solid lack of RPGs for the GameCube. The PS2 has been the absolute dominant platform for the genre this generation. But even so, that doesn’t mean the GameCube hasn’t had its share of quality. Whether it be Fire Emblem: [...]
