According to UK based NGC Magazine, the upcoming Zelda: Twilight Princess for the GameCube will be playable on Nintendo’s Revolution console using the new controller. The magazine also confirms a November 2006 release for the next-gen system as speculated.
From the article: “NGC can exclusively reveal that Twilight Princess will be playable on the forthcoming Revolution using the upcoming console’s unique controller. Zelda will actually ‘bring in’ the Revolution by launching fairly close to the new system, which is set to be released around November of next year, according to our sources.”
This move wouldn’t be surprising considering Nintendo’s track record. The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages although originally released for the Game Boy Color, actually contained extra bonuses for Game Boy Advance owners.
It’s also still unsure when The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will in fact launch. Nintendo has given a post-March timeframe, but has failed to specify a more precise date. More as it breaks.
