Will Wright’s Spore confirmed for Nintendo DS

This comes as good news for hopefuls that Spore will be available for platforms other than the PC. Will Wright previously hinted that he would like to see Spore released across other platforms. It seems only a Nintendo DS port has been formally announced at this time. To our dismay, no release date or further details are available.

This news comes from EA’s quarterly conference call. Additionally, EA has pledged additional support for both Wii and on the Nintendo DS.
