Rumor: Wii Demo Channel in the Future?

The ever perceptive NeoGAF posters have found a European website claiming that a Wii Demo Channel is (or may be) headed to Wii in the future. No details were really divulged, but such a channel could host a plethora of Wii demo’s and potentially Nintendo DS ones, also. Which of the two would be a better idea? Obviously Nintendo DS. Small file sizes would allow for hasty downloads and quick file transfers from Wii to Nintendo DS. That ever growing Nintendo DS userbase could benefit from such a service too.

Actually, the more important question we should be asking is: Where the hell is online play for Wii?
