Weather Channel is a Go

The Weather Channel has launched today. If you missed the friendly message waiting for you this morning, you can just perform a system update to receive this new functionality. Unfortunately, Connect24 doesn’t download it for you. What’s up with that?

By selecting the nearest major city to where you live, you can get a quick 5-day forecast. If that’s not enough, you can check out what the weather is like across the world by spinning it like a globe. It’s a neat, little feature, though it’s not going to replace my checking the weather whenever I sit down to a computer. But it’s free.
