Nintendo announced today that its full-year net profits should be up by 20% to 84 billion yens, or about 758.9 million dollars.
This is all due to very strong sales of Nintendo’s Game Boy Advance system as well as a stronger dollar.
While they said that GameCube sales were a little lower than expected, they say the Game Boy Advance helped and that they are going to really push the GameCube this holiday season to achieve their sales target for the console.
Nintendo’s shares rose 1.59% to 13,440 yen.
