New Nintendo DS Lite Images and Hardware Details

Nintendo of Japan’s official website was updated today with highly anticipated information on the DS Lite, Nintendo’s redesign of its popular dual-screen handheld.

Two previously unannounced colors were revealed, Enamel Navy (right) and Ice Blue. That makes three colors total, including Crystal White, ready for launch. This color lineup is meant for Japan only and may change when the unit debuts in North America. Specifically, many are speculating that Ice Blue might not make the cut.

DS Lite’s accessories were also shown which include the AC adapter, GBA connector cover (a new addition which covers the GBA game slot), touch pen, and hand strap.

The DS Lite is set for launch on March 2nd, along with the new DS game, Children of Mana. A North American launch date is expected in the near future. Nintendo Spin will keep you updated.
