It was recently reported by Famitsu magazine that Namco subsidiary Monolith Software is again at work for games exclusive for Nintendo. The first happens to be a remake of Xenosaga I & II for the Nintendo DS. It is being redone in a 2D fashion but won’t be without it’s well-known and long FMVs.
Also coming to the GameCube soon is a prequel to the exclusive Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wing and the Lost Ocean. Properly named Baten Kaitos II, the events of the game will take place 20 years prior to Baten Kaitos. It will feature an assassin by the name of Sagi, and it will also take place in virtually the same world we experienced in the first game. Many areas will be new, but many will also be revisited on your quest. The Magnus card system is returning as well, but obviously with new ways to use them and new things to absorb.
