Some of our readers may remember Broken Saints, a comic strip being shopped around for game development. On Sunday, Brooke Burgess of Broken Saints divulged what he believed will be some key aspects of the Nintendo Revolution:
-Gyroscopic Control
-Touchscreen Integration
-Wireless controllers and wireless PC/DS integration
-Stereoscopic 3d gaming
Of course, Stereoscopic 3d is the most surprising item on the list. Brooke claims that the Nintendo Revolution may feature immersive 3d gaming capabilities that are currently being considered for mainstream movie theater use starting in 2007. The technology may or may not involve special glasses, and is capable of making images appear to jump out of the tv, giving gamers a much more immersive gaming experience.
So why should you believe Brooke? While it's only speculation, Brooke claims to have pieced together the information from various industry sources. In fact, Brooke claims that the Stereoscopic technology was shown behind closed doors at last year's E3.............for GameCube!
