Customers are finding Nintendo's DS a much better gaming device than Sony's PSP and are saying that the DS beats the PSP hands down in each of the areas that concern them most: games, device quality and screen.
Whilst Sony's impressive marketing campaign has placed the PSP in the forefront of customer's minds (it was discussed twice as frequently as the DS), this has not fed through to customer satisfaction. Customers found that the DS offered superior value due to the substantial price advantage over the PSP
These findings are the result of research by WaveMetrix, based on customer opinion expressed in online discussion. Online discussion contains powerful and candid feedback from customers about what they really think, not what they say in surveys.
