Mario Kart Arcade GP Revealed

Today, at an arcade show in Japan, Namco revealed to the public a new Mario Kart game. Mario Kart Arcade GP will be released later this year in Japan and, hopefully, in the US.

The game is being developed on Nintendo’s Tri-Force arcade board which is a modified version of the Nintendo GameCube. While we cannot confirm it, this could mean that the game will come to the GameCube, as a port would be very easy to make.

Developed by Namco, the game will feature both Nintendo characters as well as Namco characters. Pac Man is already confirmed and more may be on the way.
