Japanese Software Sales for 1/29 – 2/4

Japan loves soccer and Nintendo DS. Which comes as no surprise, because that’s what rounded out the top of the Media Create list for this week. Sega’s J-League Pro Soccer 5 took the top spot, dethroning last weeks Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas which fell to number four. Wii Sports and Wii Play collectively seem to have some staying power; which is nice because the rest of the list is devoid of Wii titles — or Xbox 360 and PS3 titles for that matter. The ever-selfish Nintendo DS took the majority of the top 10 spots again this week.

So, has next-gen started in Japan yet?

01. (PS2, Sega) J-League Pro Soccer 5 – 107,073 / 107,073
