Capcom Announces New Game - GameCube News | Nintendo Spin

According to several other videogame websites, Capcom announced at a press conference in Las Vegas that the blue bomber will be back in another collection of games.

Since we already got the original Mega Man series, this time around we're going to get the X one. While we do not have that many details on it, we are probably only gonna get Mega Man X through X6 as Mega Man X7 was released not too long ago and Mega Man X8 is coming really soon so it would be stupid of Capcom to include it on this compilation, and probably impossible to fit all those games on one disc.

It should also be noted that just like Mega Man Anniversary Collection, this one will inlcude bonuses. One of them will be a Mega Man cart game titled Mega Man Battle & Chase which wasn't released in America.
