Celebrating its tenth worldwide anniversary in February, the Pokémon franchise has reached more than $25 billion in worldwide retail sales. But the illustrious franchise is not stopping there as it introduces its latest video game. Pokémon Trozei for Nintendo DS is available in stores now. It's a visually mesmerizing game with highly addictive gameplay for people of all ages.
The slide-action, frenzied puzzle game is designed to be straightforward for all players. The intuitive nature of the touch screen and stylus provides trouble-free game play for gamers of all experience levels. With more than 380 popular Pokémon characters appearing as puzzle pieces, now, Pokémon fans can slide a Snorlax or even "Trozei" a Torchic.
Players use the stylus to line up four puzzle pieces in a row either vertically or horizontally. This creates a "Trozei," which can be converted into a chain reaction by lining up three Pokémon in a row and then two in a row to clear those pieces from the screen. Players get higher scores depending on how long they keep a Trozei going. But don't let the pieces stack up too high or it's game over.
Through the DS local wireless function, players can share with friends all the precious Pokémon that they've added to their Trozei List. Now, friends also can share Pokémon Trozei buddy icons, which they can add to their instant messaging index of images. And later this month, DS Download Stations will allow Nintendo DS owners to wirelessly download content onto their Nintendo DS system at participating retailers free of charge.
