It seems he is making this incredibly hyped appearance to celebrate the success of his latest gaming masterpiece for the Nintendo DS in Nintendogs. In fact, the first 200 people that show up to the location in Rockefeller Plaza are guaranteed to receive an autograph from him.
Also, if you happen to be one of the lucky first ten people in line that day and have a DS with the game, look forward to actually experiencing Nintendogs Bark Mode with him.
Nintendo is also planning on giving away an array of free stuff out on that day, including limited edition DS skins graced with Miyamoto's signature.
The event will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Sunday the 25th. So if you hope to have any chance of meeting this gaming icon in that two hour window, you better plan pretty quickly to get yourself out there.
