Rare Developing For DS

Nintendo DS News Posted by Marc-André Sarrazin

While this isn't an official confirmation as it hasn't been announced in a press release, Rare, the developer of critically acclaimed titles like Goldeneye and Banjo-Kazooie is currently looking for people to work on DS software. On their website you can read:

EXPERIENCED 3D ARTISTS (NINTENDO DS)
Good understanding of 3D packages (preferably Maya), strong modelling and texturing abilities, imagination and motivation are all required from anyone hoping to join our Develop award-nominated team in creating key DS titles.

GAMES PROGRAMMERS (NINTENDO DS)
Must be motivated, enthusiastic and skilled in C/C++ to join our dedicated handheld team, recently nominated for a Develop Industry Excellence Award. 3D skills also an advantage in creating high-profile titles for this unique system.

Does this mean we'll see port of their N64 projects? I think a lot of people are hoping for an online compatible version of Perfect Dark but who knows what Rare has up their sleeves!

Here's hoping we get more info really soon!
