In an update released today by TNI Securities, we learned that the headset port on the Nintendo DS will be used to make international phone calls. We all knew that it would be possible to have voice chat since Nintendo had already confirmed it, and they had already said that there was something secret with a port on the system, so this could be the key to this secretas there was heavy speclation it was gonna be used for a microphone.
This could mean good news for all of us since it could also mean voice chat while playing games online, or just being able to call you friend in Japan without having to pay a single cent! This will surely make the DS even more popular than it was going to be.
Hopefully, Nintendo will confirm this soon.
