Konami of Europe has announced it is bringing its ever-popular Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise to the GameCube in Yu-Gi-Oh! The Falsebound Kingdom; a game specifically developed to complement the Nintendo console.
Due for release in November, Yu-Gi-Oh! The Falsebound Kingdom stars series hero - duelling master Yugi - and his friends from the popular cartoon series as they find themselves trapped within a sinister virtual world. Utilising real-time strategy elements, the player must use the individual abilities of each character to escape a series of danger-filled locations. As such, fans of the Yu-Gi-Oh!TM series will delight as the series' most famous monsters appear in real-time battles and in incredible detail.
Yu-Gi-Oh! The Falsebound Kingdom's colourful 3D realism truly bring the monsters and characters from the TV series to life, and the player is charged with forming teams of three creatures to go up against the trio of beasts unleashed by your unseen adversary. These monsters must then be delegated orders to counter attacks from the CPU-controlled assailants, and to go on the offensive. The ultimate aim of the game is to secure key areas of the game map, thus helping Yugi and co seize control of the virtual world and facilitate their escape.
With a wealth of stunning moves, attacks and visually resplendent combination attacks, Yu-Gi-Oh! The Falsebound Kingdom marks a superb debut on the Nintendo format for the popular franchise. With its engrossing three-on-three battles, twisting plot and plentiful attacking and defensive options, The Falsebound Kingdom is a worthy addition to Konami of Europe's expanding range of Yu-Gi-Oh! titles.
