Ken Kutaragi has just anounced that Playstation 3 will be shown before the end of 2004, and will be playable at next year's E3. He has also said that it would be released in the year 2006.
Since it is believed that Microsoft will release it's next-generation console in late 2005, this only leaves Nintendo. They have said that they wouldn't be last this time, and also that Microsoft was launching too early, so this means that we will see the Revolution in 2006, maybe even at the beginning of 2006 since Sony could decide to release the PS3 in march of 2006.
Nintendo has already said that they would reveal Revolution at next year's E3, but we still don't know if it will be playable or not. We do not know if they'll decide to show the Revolution before the end of the year like Sony is doing with the PS3, but those hoping for a Spaceworld event this year might be disapointed since it usually takes place in august and it is too late for Nintendo to anounce an event that big at this time.
