The game, which is gonna be released in 2005, had been in development for a considerable amount of time now.
Blizzard entertainment had announced lated that developer Nihilistic had finished their work on the game last month and that Blizzard was gonna complete the game by themselves.
They’ve now made a partnership with Swingin’ Ape Studios to not only finish this title, but also to work on future multiplatform games.
Mike Morhaim, president of Blizzard said that “The team at Swingin’ Ape Studios is a very talented group of developers with a proven ability to deliver extraordinary games, we’re confident that this partnership will result in titles that achieve the level of quality that players have come to expect from Blizzard products.”
Swingin’ Ape Studios has developed the game Metal Arms: A Glitch In The System. Even though this game didn’t sell that much, many gamers fell in love with the fantastic gameplay it offered. Being able to use characters and environments from one of the most popular game developer in the world could help them show their talent to an even bigger audience.
