Acclaim has now anounced that they have lost the license to not only the Turok license, but also the license of the MLB which they used in their All-Star Baseball games.
While the Turok license might not be a big loss considering the fact that the last Turok game didn't sell, the MLB license might prove to give Acclaim a hard time since their baseball game was pretty popular.
Both licences were lost because Acclaim was not able to pay on time. Acclaim says it has paid for the MLPBA license as well as certain loyalty fees for some players, but it seems like they have been in dispute with the MLPBA since last may.
Hopefully, we'll hear some good news from them soon.
